Brian von Glahn, 61, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his home in Warren. He was born on March 20, 1962, in Sleepy Hollow, NY. He was the son of the late Kenneth F. and Marie V. (Tormey) von Glahn Jr.
Brian was a 1980 graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School and attended Paul Smith's College, in Paul Smiths, NY. Brian made his home for the past 30 years in the Mad River Valley. He began his working career with the Marriott Corporation having many career highlights including Chez Henri restaurant in Warren and most recently for Carpenters Motor Transport.
He is survived by his seven brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews and extended family. For those who wish, memorial gifts in Brian's memory can be made to the Mad River Valley Community Fund, PO Box 353 Waitsfield, VT 05673 or by visiting www.mrvcommunityfund.org.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Brian's life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 4:00 pm, at the Hyde Away Inn and Restaurant, 1440 Mill Brook Road, Waitsfield, VT. To send a online condolence please visit www.perkinsparker.com.
