Brittany Elizabeth Duncan, born on Saturday, February 13, 1988. Passed away Thursday evening, January 9, 2025, in Fairborn, Ohio. She was a devoted mother, cherished daughter, and beloved sister who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
Brittany is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Brieanna Jean Smead and Piper Ann Smith; her mother, Tiffany J. Hutton; her second father, Robert B. Olander; her sisters, Kelsie, Bobbi, Brandi, Lacey, and Harley; and her brother, Storm. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Mac Duncan, and her son, Gunner Dale Smith.
Brittany's vibrant personality and passion for life shone brightly in all she did. She loved singing and dancing, often creating cherished memories during iced coffee outings with her sisters. A lifelong learner with a curious spirit, Brittany delighted in exploring new ideas and had recently developed an interest in healthy cooking with dreams of growing fresh crops at home. Passionately pursuing her education at Clark State where she was studying to become a counselor. Her dream was to offer support and understanding to others.
Her faith was a source of strength and inspiration. Brittany found comfort in reading the Bible and enjoyed engaging in thoughtful discussions about the world around her. Her fascination with conspiracy theories added a unique spark to her conversations and reflected her inquisitive nature. The legacy Brittany leaves behind is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of kindness. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her as a source of inspiration, a true friend, and a loving mother and daughter. Brittany's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, as they celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
Brittany Elizabeth Duncan's life was a melody of love and service that will resonate for generations to come. Her story is not one of sorrow, but a celebration of a soul that touched so many. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on through the memories she has created with all who had the joy of knowing her.
Services and great care are entrusted to Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home. Calling hours for the family to receive friends for visitation will begin at 10am on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Funeral Home, located at 1632 Wayne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, 45410. The funeral service celebrating Brittany's life will begin at noon. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
