Brooke Marie Autrey

Brooke Marie Autrey, age 34, of Waynesville, North Carolina, ascended to her eternal home on March 22nd, 2025. Born October 29th, 1991, Brooke was a devoted fiance', loving mother, and a creative soul who poured her heart into everything she did. She was known for her ability to quickly master new skills, willingness to help family and friends in need, and most importantly her love of motherhood.
Brooke is survived by- Her fiance; Robert Rathbone, Daughter: Laura Marie Rathbone, Mother; Laura Sabella, Sister; Kari Autrey, Niece; Jordan Evans, Nephews; Jacob, Joseph, and Paden, Maternal grandmother, Karen Brown, as well as Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles Christina Queen (Dennis), Julie Messer (Bill), Jason Sabella (Johnna), and Mary Autrey and Cousins, Friends.
Brooke is preceded in death by- Her father; Ronnie Autrey, Paternal Grandparents; James Autrey, Sheila Autrey, Maternal Grandfather; Bob Sabella and step grandfather Scott Brown, Great Aunt; Marcia Mize and Great Grandparents; Pierce and Carolyn Mize.
In memory, family and friends will continue to honor the vibrant light she brought into their lives and remember that the lord welcomed her with open arms and her heavenly wings crafted for her the day she was born. Brooke will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Brooke's life will be serviced by Pastor Gibson at Maggie Valley United Methodist Church, 4192 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC, at 3pm on Saturday, April 19th for all that would like to attend.
