Bruce Edward Daniels, 68, of Toano, VA, passed away in the presence of his wife and daughter, on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy; and his son, Shawn. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jacki; his daughter, Becky; siblings, Danny, Gary, Franklin, and Becky; granddaughter, Justine Daniels; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bruce was a member of the Williamsburg Masonic Lodge No. 6, and was a well-known supporter of his community, and the businesses within James City County. Bruce owned and operated Daniels Welding and Tires Inc. in Toano and was dedicated to his work. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time out on the water. You could find Bruce deep sea fishing most often in Hatteras, North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held 4 pm, Friday, July 19, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge VA 23140. The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 4 pm, just prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department, 3135 Forge Rd, Toano, VA 23168.
