Caitlin Yvonne Mayhew

Caitlin Yvonne Mayhew, age 33, passed away at her home in Nowata, Oklahoma on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Caitlin was born on September 25, 1990, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to her father Larry Mayhew, and her mother Davene Mayhew (Hindman).
Caitlin graduated from Nowata High School in Nowata, Oklahoma, and went on to be a CNA. Caitlin was the mother of two beautiful children Taveon, age 12, and Zenovia, age 7. She loved spending time with her kids and her family. Caitlin loved animals of all kinds. She always went above and beyond to care for her residents in the care facilities where she worked. Caitlin loved spending time with her best friend Davene more than words can explain. Caitlin loved helping people, ones she knew, and ones she didn't know. She was always ready to do what was needed.
Caitlin is preceded in death by her grandparents Oce and Ora Mayhew, her grandparents Louise Camren and Robert Gorham, her brother Reggie Powell, and fur babies Neyna and Joey.
Caitlin is survived by her parents, Larry and Davene Mayhew, her children Taveon and Zenovia Mayhew, brother Danny Gorham and his wife Emily and their children Samantha, Savana, Alexis, and Mason, great niece Rhylee, brother David and his wife Madison and their children Makenna, Mylie, and Bentley, her sister Iesha Mayhew and children Bryan, Ryan, Victoria, and Winter, her grandfather Virgil Camren and a large host of family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Stumpff Funeral Home 620 E. Cherokee in Nowata, Oklahoma from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the First Church of God, 408 S. Pine in Nowata, Oklahoma at 10 AM. Burial to follow at the Nowata Memorial Cemetery.
