Caleb Scott Kimball, 39, of Afton, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer in his home at 2:13 am.
He was born on September 22, 1984 in Warsaw, IN, the son of Daniel J. Kimball and Wendy L. (Tuttle) Karr. Caleb was a Warsaw High School graduate. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a degree in Advertising and Multimedia Digital Arts and Game Development.
Caleb was formerly employed by Balentine Builder Services. He had a very strong personality and was a very strong supporter of anything to do with fighting to help to stop colorectal cancer. Caleb had a big caring heart and wanted to help many and helped who he could. While in Florida, Caleb was part of "Man up to cancer" and "fight colorectal cancer". He loved the beaches and the sunshine. Caleb loved to laugh and enjoyed comedy clubs. Caleb was very intelligent and always researching one thing or another. Caleb loved his Buell motorcycle decked out in red, white, and blue with his helmet, jacket, and gloves to match. He would ride whenever he could. Caleb was able to take jumping out of an airplane off of his bucket list three weeks prior to his passing, which he claimed was a thrill of a lifetime. He had a heart of gold and always tried to help others; he was able to care for his grandmother for 6 years. Caleb loved spending time with his two dogs, California "Cali" Sun Kimball and Cole. Cali and Caleb have been through a lot together, he got her as a pup and she is now 14. He rescued Cole from a shelter almost a year ago, he is now 3 and has been a total sweetheart.
Survivors include his father, Daniel J. Kimball; mother, Wendy L. (David G.) Karr; maternal grandmother, Edna Tuttle; brothers, Matthew J. Kimball, Aaron N. Kimball, and Eric C. Kimball; step brothers, Daniel D. Strain, Matthew B. Karr, Benjamin M. Karr, and Nicholas J. Karr; nieces and nephews, Emily, Lucas, Logan, Hunter, Veronica, Parker, and Landon Kimball; 14 cousins; very best friend and special cousin, Tom Tuttle; and cousin, Lance VanTine.
Caleb was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Tuttle; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Beverly Kimball; uncles, James C. Kimball and Song Su Shin; cousin, Barbara Ann Kimball; best friend and college roommate, Jacob Slye.
A Celebration of Life for Caleb will be held at a later date.
Caleb was unconventional, so he decided before passing he wanted his body to be sent to Recompose in Seattle, WA.

Although I only met Caleb when my son was in the hospital in Florida he was certainly a sweetheart. Brian liked & cared about Caleb and was so sad to hear about him being so sick. They really bonded & Caleb was so kind to Brian in many ways. We are truly heartbroken for you.
