Calum Wells Dudakiw-Warrick, a loving, funny, and spirited young boy, was born on May 16th, 2021, in McHenry, IL, and passed away on April 29th, 2023, in Chicago, IL. He was the cherished son of Felicia Walters and John Paul Dudakiw-Warrick and brought immense joy and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Calum had a deep love for animals, which was evident in his close bond with his dog, Coshi, and his three cats, Leo, Cat Stevens, and Cat Kerouac. He was also fascinated by geese, often watching them with great curiosity and excitement. Calum's love for blue was unparalleled, and he would enthusiastically guess the color of every car he saw, always declaring it to be blue. This love for blue extended to his favorite television show, Bluey, which was also the inspiration for his very first word.
Calum's passion for movies was apparent in his adoration for the films Encanto and Moana. He would often sing and dance as his favorite songs played, bringing smiles and laughter to his family and friends. His infectious energy and enthusiasm for life were truly inspiring and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Calum's love for the outdoors was clear in his excitement to explore the world around him. He enjoyed playing in the park, going for walks, and simply being outside, experiencing the wonders of nature. He also had a unique interest in household chores, such as cleaning, doing the dishes, and laundry. His family fondly remembers how Calum would happily help with these tasks, making even the most mundane chores a fun and enjoyable experience.
Calum's loving nature and spirited personality touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His laughter and joy were contagious, and his presence brought warmth and happiness to those around him. He will be remembered as a bright light in the lives of his family and friends, and his memory will continue to inspire love, laughter, and compassion in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Calum's life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 12-5 pm. at the Justen's Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL where family and friends will come together to remember the love and joy that Calum brought into their lives.
Calum Wells Dudakiw-Warrick will be deeply missed, but his spirit and love will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
