Jesup, Georgia – Candace Lea Barker-Holt, 46, of Jesup, Georgia, formerly of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Keith Lairsey and Reverend Stephan Massey officiating. Interment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Reverend Keith Larisey, Reverend Stephan Massey and Reverend Andy Cashwell will officiate.
Casketbearers are Donnie Mothershed, Leland Hall, Caleb Weldon, Jaylis Larkin, Russell Slappey, III and Will Braswell.
Born May 21, 1979, at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base, Jacksonville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Johnney Kim Barker and Patricia “Patsy” Matthews Barker.
She was baptized into the Baptist faith, attended Unity Church of God in Jesup and loved the Lord. A server at Hog-n-Bones Restaurant in Jesup, she enjoyed photography, being in nature, watching the sunrise and sunset, listening to music, and would always do without to help those in need.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Caylee Grace Holt Pierce and husband, Ashton, Cameron Alexis Holt and companion, Caleb Weldon, Carlee Jade Holt, Celia Skye Holt; grandson, Kye Rowan Pierce; brothers, Ryne Heath Barker and wife, Katie, Micah Joe Barker; former husband, Christopher Allen Holt. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Oscar Fred Barker and Mayrell Grogan Glover Barker, and Walter Brewster Matthews and Grace Fretwell Matthews.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
