Candace Cherie Houck passed away July 18,2024. She was born February 16,1991 in East Ridge, Tn. Candace was a free spirit who loved photography, painting, laughing and dancing with friends, and singing, sometimes off key to her music.

She had a big smile that light up every room she entered. She was loved by her family and numerous friends.

She is survived by her mother Beverly (Miller) Salhany, Nick Salhany (stepfather), brothers Michael Brown, Brandon Hindmon, and Colin Salhany. Sisters Cailyn Salhany and Marissa Salhany. Grandmother Norma Miller, Diane Dusanic (aunt), Denise Salhany(aunt), Shannon (uncle) and Dawn (aunt) Miller, Daisy (niece) and (nephew) Gavin, Bill Hindmon (father) and family.

Please join us to celebrate Candace's beautiful but short life on Saturday, July 27 at 3pm at Lupton Drive Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Billy Wallace.

In lieu of traditional flowers, the family has requested potted flowers that can be planted and bloom from year to year or donations for a tree to be planted in her honor.
