Carl "Brannon" Twiford, age 38, of Elizabeth City, NC, died on March 19, 2025, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Brannon was born on April 12, 1986, in Elizabeth City, NC to Carl Ray Twiford and the late Deborah Ann Canaday Twiford.
Brannon was a cleaner for a realty company, where he was known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic. Outside of his professional life, he was a man of many interests. He had a passion for painting and photography, often capturing the beauty of the world through his lens and brush. An avid learner, he attended the College of the Albemarle, where he furthered his education and indulged his curiosity about the world.
Brannon is survived by a loving family who will cherish his memory, including his father and stepmother, Carl Ray Twiford and Melissa Bundy Twiford; his cherished son, Quincy Lee Twiford; and his brothers, Nick Sakis and Zack Bundy. Brannon also leaves behind his grandfather, Allison Brannon Twiford; a niece, Paige; and two nephews, Aiden and Bryan. His family and friends will miss him dearly and hold him close in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Deborah Ann Canady Twiford and grandmother, Evelyn Sawyer Twiford.
In this time of loss, we remember Brannon for the warmth and creativity he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Twiford Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jerald Craddock. Brannon's service will be live streamed on his obituary page at www.TwifordFH.com.
