Carla Jan Andela, 60, of Grandview, Missouri passed away at her residence unexpectedly on Sunday April 16, 2023. Carla was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on October 9, 1962, to Carl and Georgia Andela. Later after her father retired from the Air Force, they relocated to the Kansas City area and Carla graduated from Grandview High School.
Carla loved to bake and was know for her holiday cookies and her famous banana bread. She loved being out with her family and friends. She enjoyed being outside and spending time in her garden. She always had a pet because she was a huge animal lover. Carla spent a large portion of her professional career working for Wilbert Vault company providing over 20 years of service in there accounting department. When Carla wasn't working or spending time with friends her all time favorite thing to do was spoil and spend time with her only grandson Malcolm. She loved him dearly.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents Carl Andela and Georgia (Mouw) Andela. She is survived by her daughter Ashley Walker, Son in law AJ Walker, grandson Malcolm Walker, Brother Gerard "Jay" Andela, and her nieces Meghan and Madison Andela. Carla will be truly missed by many extended family members and friends that knew her.
