Della Lois Andela, age 86, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away on November 14, 2024, at Cox Medical Center Branson surrounded by her husband, her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois was born to Efton and Mary Jane (Gray) Boyd on August 13, 1938 at their home in Branson, MO. She was raised in Branson, MO. and graduated from Spokane High School. Lois was united in marriage to Peter Andela on May 29, 1958 in Grandview, MO. Lois and Pete shared 66.5 years of marriage before Lois' passing. They were blessed with 5 children.
Lois was a cook at the Ozarks Correctional Center in Fordland and at Branson Schools. She worked at Riverview School, she was a beloved waitress at The Fox Cafe and probably her most rewarding job was owning her own daycare and pouring into countless kids. You could find Lois serving in many capacities like Sunday School Teacher, waitress, VBS worker, ministering by taking meals to others or sending the best cards needed for encouragement, cooking at Camp Joy, working in My Sister's Closet, working the Prayer Room at church, studying God's Word, or working in her garden or flower bed. She was a very generous and hospitable woman, always giving whatever she had to anyone that needed it. She was a faithful friend to many from all walks of life! Lois leaves a legacy of great faith, always pointing others to Jesus, encouraging others and spending countless hours in prayer, all evidence of a life well lived.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Efton and Mary Jane Boyd and her siblings Connie Boyd, Jasper Boyd, Jake Boyd, Esther Leona, Ain Boyd, Mae Prewitt, Hoppy Boyd, Joseph Boyd, Ida Stuart, Annabelle Cofer and beloved brother in law, Joe Stuart as well as many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving husband Peter Andela; daughter Jennifer (Alan) Forrest; daughter Jackie Spradling; son Jeff (Jenny) Andela; son Jimmy (Tammie) Andela; and daughter Jeri (Kevin) King. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; Travis (Terra) Croft, Shannon Cronin, Jessica (Mike) Woody, Austin (Addy) Forrest, Courtney (Jeff) Edwards, Josh Reavis, Chad Spradling (Phoenix Bingham), Alli Forrest (John Kemper), Josie (Andy) Cull, Jared Andela, Nikki (Robert) Pare, Jeffery Andela, Blake Andela, Jordyn Andela, Alexis Andela, and Casey King.
