Aurora, Utah - Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Carla Anne Dougherty Tucker, 86, of Aurora, passed away August 22, 2025 in Richfield. She was born August 30, 1939 in Willow Creek, Utah, a daughter of Andrew McNeil and Sarah Elizabeth Turnbull Dougherty.
She married Lyle M. Tucker June 7, 1957 in the Manti LDS Temple. They have been together for over 68 years.
Carla enjoyed crocheting and knitting, bottling and canning fruits and vegetables.
She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Carla is survived by her beloved husband, Lyle, of Aurora; her children: Gaylene and Dan Rasmussen, Reeda Gail and Layne DeLange, Richard Lyle (Joni, deceased) Tucker, Patrick Neil Tucker (Deceased), Joetta Jackman Spencer Christensen (Deceased) and Burke Christensen, and Wade Kay Tucker; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, June Lee and Tim Pay.
She is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother: Mary and Ray Cox, Darlene and Stan Fishler, Mike Andrew and Irene Dougherty.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Aurora City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Aurora LDS Ward Chapel, 85 North Main Street in Aurora, Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
