Carol Ann Boychuk, 84 of Rochester Hills and Gaylord, passed away Friday, May
19, 2023, at Medilodge of Gaylord.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 9, 1939, she was the daughter of
William and Phyllis (Hallsted) Ebling. In her youth, she attended Catholic schools.
Carol lived in Madison Heights for several years, where she raised her children,
then later in Sterling Heights. After her marriage to her husband, Rick, they lived
in Florida for a time and also in Utica. After his death, Carol split her time with
her two daughters, Deanne in Rochester Hills, and Terri in Gaylord.
She retired from Beaumont Health System where she worked as an aide, first in
dietary and later in the maternity department. In her spare time, she enjoyed
gardening and bingo. Those who knew her best will remember how
happy she was spending time in the sun, at the beach.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Deanne Wright of Rochester Hills, and Terri
Ann Leach of Gaylord; grandchildren, Ariane Carol Leach and three others; two great grandchildren; and her sister, Arlene Holland of Roseville
In keeping with her wishes, Carol's family will remember her privately. Please
share your memories and personal messages with the family on the guestbook,
below.
