Carol A. (Grady) Plauger, 75, of Littleton, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Emerson Hospital. Born January 17, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Irene (Belanger) Grady.
She is survived by her husband David Plauger of Littleton, MA, and her siblings: Therese (Terry) Hannigan, Dracut, MA, Richard (Dick) Grady, Southampton, NJ, Pauline Bowers, Portage, MI, Doris (Dot) Comeau Bedford, N.H., Lorraine Christedes, Pelham, N.H., and Gerard (Jerry) and Grace Grady of Biancavilla, Sicily. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Carol was raised in Lowell, MA. She was briefly a postulant with the Daughters of St. Paul. She earned a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Carol served as a nurse in Boston hospitals. She later acted as Nursing Supervisor at Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA. She worked as a bookkeeper for Palm Manor, then later as an independent contractor.
Carol and Dave were married in Concord, MA, January 1985. They recently celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Funeral services for Carol will be private.
