Carol A. (nee Ochocki) Remner, 74, of Willoughby, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Born Oct. 27, 1949, in Garfield Hts., Carol had previously lived in Mentor before moving to Willoughby.
Carol was a loving mom, grandma, sister and aunt whose greatest joy was watching her grandsons' play sports. She loved celebrating the holidays with her loved ones, shopping, reading and meeting friends for lunch. For 20 years, Carol proudly raised her children and took care of the household. After her children went to college, she worked part-time at Summerville Assisted Living in meal preparation and serving.
She was the loving mother of Justin (Becky) Remner and Dawn Remner; cherished grandmother of Garrett and Owen; sister of Ronald (Bonnie) Ochocki, Thomas (Zelda) Ochocki and Marilyn (Tony) Roberts; aunt of Dan Roberts, Kim and Chad Flanagan, Lyndsay (Mark) Tenhonsel, Jessica (Mat) Woods, Melissa (Jeff) Fowler, Gregory (Michelle) Ochocki, Carrie Ochocki, Doug (Marsha) Ochocki, Karen (Dan) Soja, Cheryl (Dave) Boboryk, Michael (Terri) Ochocki and their beautiful families. She didn't see you often, but you were always in her heart; and great-aunt to Connor, Jack and Lucy.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Estelle (nee Krysiak) Ochocki.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life Service starting at 4 p.m.

I am very sorry to hear of my cousin Carol´s passing! We re-acquainted twice in the last 11/2 year, after many years of being out of contact!
We spoke of our childhood and many good memories of family gatherings, especially during the holidays and at summer picnics at various parks that her dad organized.

May you Rest In Peace !
Love Ralph
