Carolyn Cusato Obituary
Born in Norwood, PA to the late Edward Chandler Lavender and Marguerite (Butler) Lavender, Kay resided in Warrington, PA for over 45 years.
Carolyn was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA and a graduate of Fitzgerald Mercy where she earned her Registered Nursing degree. She worked in long term healthcare at Resthaven Nursing Home, The Hill at Whitemarsh and Seasons Hospice.
Carolyn enjoyed her family, many friends, nine grandchildren, music, dancing, experiencing theatre, listening to the rain, sunsets, and her favorite color, yellow. She had fond memories of playing the cello in her high school orchestra, alongside her dear friend and sister-in-law, Pat Lavender.
She was the beloved wife of Leonard S. Cusato for 59 years; devoted mother of Leonard J. Cusato (Judy Uhron), James G. Cusato (Shannon), Gina L. Hamilton (Chris), and Kara L. Cusato; dear sister of Edward Lavender (Patricia), Marguerite Inzerillo (Bill), and Richard Lavender (Kathy); loving grandmother of Kylie Cusato, Kennedy Cusato, Braxton Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Brooke Hamilton, Lauren Hamilton, Zoe Cusato, Sasha Cusato, and Luca Mendoza-Cusato.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 9:00-10:00 am, with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, PA.
Immediately following the interment, the family invites everyone to join us for lunch at Piccolo Trattoria Restaurant. Please join us! The restaurant is located at 1745 South Easton Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.

I enjoyed the short time I got to spend with Carolyn. We did a lot of fun things together. She was one of the sweetest woman I knew and she will be greatly missed by her family and anyone that knew her. I believe she is in a good place. Audrey Winn
