Carolyn F. "Fran" Webster, loving wife to Darrell Webster, passed away peacefully at her residence in Painesville Twp. on March 4, 2025. She was born on February 26, 1948, in Logan County, West Virginia.
Fran, as she was affectionately known by those close to her, graduated from Riverside High School in 1966. She cultivated a career marked by service and cheerful interactions, driving for Head Start and serving as a deli clerk at Convenient Food Mart on Walnut Street in Painesville. She approached her work with dedication and a friendly demeanor that made her well-loved within her community.
Parallel to her professional life, Fran was a committed and vibrant member of the Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kirtland. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and her actions reflected her dedication to her church and its values.
Fran's life was one of tireless engagement-playing softball, volleyball in her youth, and embracing all kinds of sports with her cherished children: Daniel (Sabrina) Webster, Darrell C. (Sundee) Webster Jr., Samuel Ty Webster, Tamatha (Roy) Fischer, and Angelina F. Zambrano. Her legacy extends through her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of kinship and joy.
Survived by her sister Phyllis Karen Kippes, two brothers Charles Farrell and James Farrell, Fran now rejoins her parents Charles and Ella Mae (nee: Myers) Farrell, and her siblings Lorellen Farrell, Ruby Jean Soss, Sandra Knee, and Charlotte "Penny" Bryant.
Above all, Fran will be remembered for her amicable and friendly nature. She was a believer in the joy of reading, a pastime that provided solace and pleasure throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held March 22, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Restoration Church of Jesus Christ Kirtland Restoration Branch, 9320 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio 44094. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Carolyn "Fran" Webster, please visit our Tree Store.
