Carolynn Schaefers, Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the at the age of 90. Loving Mother of Ernest "Skip" (Denise), Marge (Bill), Kathy (Keith), Mike, Lynn (Jeff), Dave (Marie), Steve (Kelly), Tom, and Mark (Gail). Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to many. Further remembered by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Ernest "Ernie," parents, and siblings.
Carolynn was a Catholic church organist for much of her life and enjoyed music until the day she passed. In her free-time, she enjoyed playing cards, travel, family gatherings, and making peanut brittle.
A special thanks to the staff at Dickson Hollow in Menomonee Falls and caregivers at both CareAge in Brookfield and Allay Hospice for taking care of Carolynn.
The Visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Aurora, IL on Wednesday, August 7th from 10:00am to 11:00am. Following The Visitation, The Funeral Service will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 11:00am. Family internment immediately following The Service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Carolynn's name.
