Carroll is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Vernon (Tammy) Grissom, Piqua, OH; Tony (Caroline) Grissom, Piqua, OH; four step-brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis (Jackie) Shinall, Piqua, OH; Greg Shinall, Troy, OH; Todd (Phyllis) Shinall, Sidney, OH; and Mark Shinall, Troy, OH; one step-sister: Terri Nease, FL; four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Brian) Merz, Ashley (Matt) Spain, Adam (Kim) Grissom and William Anthony Grissom, III Piqua, OH and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one step-sister: Gail Reineke.
Carroll graduated from Piqua High School in 1961. She was a member of the Piqua United Pentecostal Church and was a Sunday school teacher and Usher. Carroll was a loving homemaker for her family.
Funeral services for Carroll will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday November 16, 2024 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home Piqua, OH with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 16, 2024 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary Church, 8527 N. County Road 25-A, Piqua, OH 45356. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.melcher-sowers.com.
