Carroll was born on January 31st, 1939, in Konawa, Oklahoma to Floyd and Myrtle (Abbott) Rains. He served a combination of six years in the United States Army Reserves and the United States Army. On March 2, 1962, he married the love of his life, Carol Anne Henderson. Together, they raised their daughter, Julie, and their son, Carroll. Carroll took great pride in his work, especially his time as a truck driver.
Carroll always made sure there was a seat at his table for anyone who needed it. He never knew a stranger. Carroll's compassion, devotion, and indomitable spirit guided many of those around him.
Carroll was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Rains, his step-father Clarence Henderson, and mother Myrtle (Juanita) Henderson; siblings Floyd Ray Rains, Grace Key, Patsy Skinner, Marie Williams; and daughter Deana Henderson. He is survived by his best friend & wife Carol Henderson; siblings Sandra Wilson and Johnny Henderson; children Julie Lovelady and Carroll Henderson II; grandchildren Justin Henderson, Timothy Lovelady, Ashley Bailey, Carroll Henderson III, Kristina Henderson, Daniel Henderson, and Rebekah Henderson; great grandchildren Aurora Henderson, Elizabeth Bailey, Izebel Lovelady, Adrianna Henderson, Abie Lovelady, Pryscila McGowan, Ricky Bailey Jr., Leon Goudeau, Carroll Henderson IV, Melissa
