Preceded in death by his parents Lily (nee Taylor) and Carter H. Wright Sr.
Survived by his beloved wife Linda (nee Pietraszek) Wright; loving daughters Kimberly Wright and Kristine (Bradley Hammond) Wright; caring siblings Kenneth (Linda) Wright, Roger (Pamela) Wright, Steven (Judy) Wright, Cindy (James) Styles, and Arthur Wright; and cherished Aunt Lois Franke and Uncle Louis Taylor.
Carter was a proud University of Illinois graduate and an Electrical Engineer for ComEd for many years. Later in life he served as an Adjunct Professor at Joliet Junior College. He enjoyed volunteering & serving at the Will County Forest Preserve, Friends of the New Lenox Library, and the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation: Sunday January 5, 2025, from 2 – 6 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel, 2100 Calistoga Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451. Funeral: Monday January 6, 2025, 9:15 AM prayers at the funeral home going to St Jude Church for 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Private Resurrection Cemetery – Justice, IL.

I have been wondering if he was sick or something more. I am so sorry for all of and your loss. Carter was a wonderful man & I always enjoyed when he came for his haircuts. Unforgettable conversation . Beautiful man to know. God bless you all
