Cathy McCain Magazu

Cathy D. McCain Magazu 74 of Pine Mountain Valley, Ga. went home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Birmingham, AL to Keith B. McCain Sr. and Elwy L (Jones) McCain.
She was a 1969 graduate of Paulsboro High School in Paulsboro, NJ. She married her high school sweetheart John A. Magazu Jr. They settled in Paulsboro, later moving to Georgia.
She is survived by her husband, her son Andrew Magazu of Columbus, GA; Her sister Terri Brooks of Hamilton, GA; and her brother Keith B. McCain Jr. and his wife Barbara of Three Forks, MT; and many nieces and nephews and their children.
She adored her family dearly.
She is predeceased by her parents Keith and Elwy McCain of Pine Mountain, GA.
She loved serving the Lord and her church and her many friends. You always saw a smile on her face and she would drop everything to have an opportunity to pray for anyone who had a need.
She loved doing crafts and paintings.
You could always find her and her sister at, flea markets, yard sales, estate sales and antique shops, searching for a bargain.
She was a volunteer at the Harris County Humane Society.
There will be a Homegoing Celebration at Christ Chapel Community Church Hamilton on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 am.
