Cato Haskay Jr
Cato Haskay Jr., age 56 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home February 23, 2022, in Salt Lake City Utah. He was born on March 1, 1965, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ruth Haskay and Cato Haskay Sr.
Cato married Victoria Lynn Martinez and had two beautiful children Amanda Haskay and Skyler Haskey. Cato had a passion for his landscaping business which he successfully ran for over 20 years.
He formed special friendships with his landscaping clientele and often, many of them treated him like family. Cato also had a passion for going on adventures down on the Navajo reservation. Many of his adventures consisted of searching for bigfoot, hunting trophy mule deer or searching for lost treasures. It was down on the reservation that he truly felt at peace and connected to universe.
He is survived by his parents: Ruth Haskay, Cato Haskay Sr.: his children: Skyler Haskay, Amanda Haskay: His siblings: Jill Trubow, Annette Haskay: Grandchildren: Analy Bustamante, Jason Bustamante.
Cato is preceded in death by the love of his life: Victoria Lynn Martinez: brother: Layne Haskay.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
