Celetta Dykes Sanders, 89, McLean, Virginia, was a beloved wife, cherished mother, doting grandmother and devoted friend to many who will be dearly missed.
Celetta was born in Macon, Georgia February 24, 1936, to her parents Minnie Lee Rankin Dykes and Coy Mandrel Dykes. Her father was a physicist, inventor with several patents and a high school principal, and her mother was a concert pianist who taught history and music. As a child Celetta lived in Moultrie, Sparta, Gainesville and Millen, Georgia. Many years later, Celetta pursued her interest and studied television production and storytelling.
