Charles W. Bean

Charles W. Bean, age 73, of Manville RI, formerly of Carver, passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, at the Landmark Medical Center in RI. He was the devoted husband of the late Julia (Battite) Bean. Loving father of David Bean and his wife Billie-Jo, Eric Bean, Tracy Bean, and the late Charles Bean, and Scott Bean. Father in-law of Julie Bean. Brother of Barbara Gillingan, Cheryl Matta, Richard Bean, and the late Linda Bean, and Ronald "Jacky" Bean. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Born in Boston on November 18, 1949, son of the late Charles and Jean (Belle) Bean. Charles grew up in Boston, later moving to Carver with his wife to raise their family. He made his career as an electrical instrument maker for the US Government. Charles loved trips to Foxwoods and scratching the occasional ticket. But, he especially loved spending time with his family.
A graveside service will take place at Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, on Thursday, April 6th, at 11:00 am.
