Charles M. Bedenko, lovingly known as Chuck, passed away peacefully at his home in Warren, Michigan, on September 12, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife and children. Born on April 19, 1941, in Hazel Park, Michigan, Chuck lived a life distinguished by his quiet strength and unwavering kindness.

For 63 wonderful years, he shared a profound bond with his beloved wife, Pat. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Chuck found joy in family; he was always there, ready to lend a hand or offer sage advice. His gentle spirit touched everyone around him, and he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the well-being of his loved ones. Whether it was assisting with home repairs or teaching others how to fix things, he took great pride in not only solving problems but also imparting knowledge to those he cared for.

Chuck enjoyed a fruitful career at General Motors, primarily in the Quality Control Department. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of his professional life. Despite the demands of his job, he never lost sight of what mattered most—his family.

A proud graduate of Hazel Park High School and Central Michigan University, Chuck's passion for education extended beyond the classroom. He fiercely believed in the importance of learning and sharing knowledge and encouraged everyone around him to pursue their interests and passions.

Outside of work, Chuck found solace in the great outdoors, often spending time playing golf and traveling with his family. An avid Detroit Tigers fan and he also delighted in watching his grandchildren participate in their sports of choice, always cheering them on from the sidelines with pride and enthusiasm.

As a father, Chuck was a constant source of support for his children—Mark (Jeanne) Bedenko, Diane Bedenko, Denise (Edward) Jackovich, Dave (Kris) Bedenko, Brian Bedenko, and Carol (Walter) Hill. He was an adoring grandfather to a multitude of grandchildren: Jessica, Matthew, Casey, Kyle, Paige (Jacob), Julia, Sean, Logan, Evan, Mike, Kaitlin, Alex, Abby (Yuri), and Megan. His legacy shines even brighter with three great-grandchildren, Jaxton, Ruby, and Maddy. Watching his family grow and thrive was among Chuck's proudest accomplishments, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He also had to bid farewell to his beloved brother James Bedenko, whose memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Chuck's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. His gentle and fun-loving nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home in Warren, Michigan, with services following at Our Lady of Grace Parish on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting at the church will start at 10 a.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a life beautifully lived and a love that endures beyond words.
