Charles "Chuck" Logan Edwards Jr., 61, of Depauw, Indiana, passed away in March of 2025.
Hey, Chuck here.
In 2013 I had a dream that compelled me to more fully live my life. I love the Almighty, my family, and this country, but my passion is riding my Harley. I've toured Cape Briton Island, 5800 miles. Colorado and the Rockies, Blue Ridge Parkway and Badlands of South Dakota. I've enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on tractors, and taking care of our land.
I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. These last two years have been brutal. I was in a courageous battle for my life, fighting for just another month or day.
Remember that dream, I died on a gurney in the back of an ambulance with my wife by my side on the way to the hospital. You are NOT to remember me for that, you are to remember how I chose to live.
I am preceded in death by my dad, Charles Sr. and my sister, Brandy.
I'm survived by my loving wife of 30 years, Paula; my daughter, April; my mom, Hazel; my sister, Sherrie (Mike); my brother, Robert (Dehlia); plus a host of nieces and nephews.
My visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). I will be laid to rest privately at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, my family requests that memorial contributions in my memory be made to the Kentucky Humane Society or any animal care of your choice.
