Charles "Skip" Conrad Garnett, 76, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024. He was born on October 19, 1947, to Charles C. "Conrad" Garnett and Margaret (Priestas) Garnett.
Skip graduated from Memorial High School and went on to attend the University of Evansville. He played baseball for the New York Mets and the Chicago White Sox. He owned a 48-lane bowling alley in Columbus, Ohio. He worked in Real Estate for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Skip put his family over all.
Skip is survived by his wife Becky McBride-Garnett; children Tami (Mike) Tooley and Heather (Mike) Reed; grandchild Noah Tooley, Shelbi Tooley, Charlie (Viyaleta) Tooley, Noah Reed; and great-granddaughter Ava; his cats, CAT and Sissy that he loved very much. Skip was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Deaconess Hospice in memory of Skip. 611 Harriet St, Evansville, IN 47710

Sorry to hear about the passing of Charles. He was a groom in my wedding long ago. I remember his daughter Tami. We had good times. We called him Connie back then. My condolences to his family.
