Mr. Charles Richard "Rich" Heath, age 74, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, entered this life on February 14, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana. Rich was the son of Audley Heath and Alma L. (Quisenberry) Heath, both of whom preceded him in death. He was raised in New Middletown, Indiana and was a 1969 graduate of Corydon Central High School. He graduated with an auto mechanics degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, Indiana. Rich was inducted into the United States Marine Corps and served as an aviation hydraulic specialist. Rich was a former auto mechanic and construction worker for several years. He was a former member of the ABATE of Indiana. Rich enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and was an avid knife collector. Rich passed away at 1:22 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.
Rich is survived by his daughter, Paula Drumm and her husband, Shane of Elizabeth, IN; his sons, Shayne Heath and his wife, Wanda of Tallahassee, FL, Robert Heath and his wife, Deb of Hardinsburg, IN, and Jeromy Heath and his wife, Sonja of Salem, IN; his grandchildren, Hannah, Abbi, Jacob, Dennis, Scott, and Robert "Pudge"; his great-grandchildren, Leala, Keylie, Axl, Skylar, Reina, Roland, and Iris; his sister, Glenda White of Vevay, IN and his brother, David Heath of Galena, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Audley Heath; his mother, Alma L. (Quisenberry) Heath; his brother-in-law, John Curtis White, and his sister-in-law, Esther Heath.
A Private Celebration of Rich's Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
