Charles Xenakis Karris of Peabody, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2023, at Salem Hospital.
He was the son of Photinie (Xenakis) Karris of Haverhill and the late Charles J. Karris, and the brother of the late John C. Karris.
He was born in Haverhill, MA on August 7, 1962, and attended Haverhill Public Schools graduating from Haverhill High School in 1980. He was a 1985 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Besides his mother, Charles leaves his brother, Mark Karris and his wife, Suzanne Lamonica, of Las Vegas, Nevada, uncles John J. Xenakis and his wife, Maria Xenakis of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Jeffrey Xenakis and his wife, Eileen Xenakis of Hampstead, New Hampshire and Theodore Xenakis and his wife, Bernadette Xenakis of Haverhill, Massachusetts, and aunt, Dorothy Syrigos and her husband Harry Syrigos of Malden, Massachusetts. He also leaves his fiancé, Orlanda Lima of Peabody, Massachusetts, and nieces Elliana Karris and Sienna Karris, as well as a nephew, Maximos Karris, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, and several cousins.
Charles was a parishioner and former member of the Parish Council of the Holy Apostles Church, Saints Peter and Paul, in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Charles was the owner of Karris & Company, LLC, a financial planning business founded by him and located in Middleton, Massachusetts.
Charles, known as Chuck to his family and friends, was an avid sports fan, especially his beloved Boston Bruins. He was a warm and compassionate man who loved his family and always enjoyed time spent at family holidays and gatherings. He had a wry sense of humor and was always one to make people laugh with his unique outlook on life.
He was a good friend to many and will be sorely missed by those whose life he touched. His untimely passing is devastating to his family and friends, and his dear fiancé, Orlanda.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday, March 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His Funeral will be Thursday morning, March 2, beginning at 10:00 at the Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 in Holy Apostles Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
