Charles Frederick Woods

Charles Frederick Woods, 79, Martinsville, died on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born August 18, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Frederick Leon and Catherine Mae (Cline) Woods.
Mr. Woods graduated from Tech High School in Indianapolis and attended Indiana University for a short time before graduating from the Armed Forces Institute.
He last worked as a painter for Davis Homes. He served his country honorably, while serving in the US Army. He took great pride in having a new vehicle and taking pristine care of it.
He leaves behind three sisters Mary Ramey of Paragon, Indiana, Donna Baker and Stella "Judy" Layton of Martinsville and his caregiver, Bobbie Padgett of Martinsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dallas Eugene Woods and sisters, Janet Butler, and Sylvia Cox.
In honoring Mr. Woods' wishes, his earthly remains will be cremated, and he will be laid to rest at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville, Indiana.
