I was charlottes friend for 50 years. I met her in 1974 at pikes peak elementary school. She was a kindergarten teacher and I was a special education teacher. It was my very first teaching job. I had to walk the halls to round up my students and I always stopped by charlottes room for a quick chat. When they moved me to giberson elementary school because they needed a morning kindergarten teacher I was so disheartened! But I walked in and there was my friend charlotte!! We taught kindergarten itogether for many years! We ate lunch together and argued politics. She was such a bright friendly person. I cried when she retired. She was so very special to me. I know she is in heaven and I shall see her again. Love you charlotte, my very good friend!!!
