Charlotte Linda McDougle, age 82, of Calhoun, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 13th.
Charlotte was born on January 22, 1943, in Gordon County, the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph H. Williams and Stella Mae Lois Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Gordon County and a member of Stoners Chapel Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin George McDougle Sr..Two sisters, Phyllis Williams Earhart and Faith Williams Joyce, as well as one great-grandson, Ashley David McDougle.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin McDougle Jr., Michael McDougle, and his wife, Leslie, Mitchell McDougle and his wife, Ginger, one daughter, Phyllis Cochran, and one sister, June Williams Daniel. Twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.
At Charlotte’s request, a private service was held on Sunday, September 14th, at Union Grove Baptist Cemetery.
