Charolette Maynard Obituary

Charolette Ann Maynard, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born on October 25, 1953, in Warren, Ohio, she was the daughter of Junior Wayne Overfield and Velvie "Lavonne" Black Overfield.

Charolette dedicated over 20 years of her life to working for Community Bussing as a school bus driver. She approached her job with a warm heart and a caring nature. The safety and well-being of the students she transported were always her top priority. Charolette's commitment and dedication to her work left an indelible impact on the community she served.

Outside of work, Charolette cherished spending time with her family. Her grandkids were everything to her, and she relished every moment she spent with them. She created beautiful and lasting memories with each one of them. Alongside her grandchildren, Charolette also had a special place in her heart for her cats. Their playful antics brought joy and comfort into her life.

In her free time, Charolette had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. Gardening allowed her to nurture life and witness the beauty of nature firsthand. She found solace in shopping for unique treasures and enjoyed losing herself in the pages of a good book. Cooking was another passion of hers - preparing delicious meals for loved ones was a way for her to express her love.

Charolette will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Charles "Mark" Maynard; daughters, Amy L. (Frank) Rutherford, Christinna Haire, Bonnie (Mohamad) Yamani; son Kevin Maynard; sisters Janice (Bill) Haynie, Linda (Rick) Nevinski, Debbie Overfield, and brothers Larry and Dale Overfield; 10 grandchildren Kayla and Brennan Rutherford, Kaden and Lilly Maynard, Madelynn Ambrose, Tarek and Camerynn Yamani, Colton, Marisa, and Makenna Haire. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Katherine Canessa.

To honor her life and pay respects, visitation services will be held on January 29,2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel ,3701 Starr Centre Drive, Canfield and on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

Charolette had a strong spirit and will to survive through all of her health issues. She took on every battle with a good attitude, never complained, and never felt sorry for herself.

Charolette Maynard was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many people. Her kindness, love, and compassion will forever be cherished. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
