Cheryl Irene Collins Keltner
August 9, 1947 - March 18, 2025
Cheryl Irene Collins Keltner was born in Alameda, California on August 9, 1947, Cheryl led a life filled with love and fulfillment, devoting her talents and time to the care of others. She spent her career as a Psych Tech Nurse at Atascadero State Hospital, where her dedication and hard work were greatly admired. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cheryl had a deep love for family. She also enjoyed music, literature, thrift stores, and camping, shining brightly in all she did.
Cheryl married Wendell Lee Duvall on May 1, 1965. Though the union culminated in a divorce, it brought forth her beautiful daughters. In 1976, Cheryl found love again and married Charles Thomas Keltner in N. Little Rock. Their bond remained unbroken until Charles' passing in 2016. Her strength and resilience were her defining qualities, and they continue to inspire those she left behind.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Angie Tolman (Brody), Tamela McClennen, Caryl Lee DuVall (Steve) and Amy Marie Pearson (Scotty); 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Collins and Bobbie Hattaway Collins; her husbands, Wendell DuVall and Charles Thomas Keltner; and her siblings, Ellen Collins Jeanne Collins and Ira Thomas Collins II.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Quail Meadows North Ogden, UT, Sandstone Rehab Longterm Care Home, Cascade Hospice – Amy and Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, the family knows that donations to any Veteran's Associations or Funnel to Fowers Foundation would make Cheryl happy.
