Chris A. Dantin peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family and friends on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the age of 67. Although Chris had a lifelong passion for equestrian hobbies, it truly came alive when he moved from Westwego, LA to Bush, LA, there he dedicated himself to his love for horses and passed on his knowledge and enthusiasm to his great nephew, Chase. Known for his magnetic personality, Chris was truly "the life of the party." His quick wit and charismatic demeanor drew people in, and his phone was rarely silent. He maintained a wide circle of friends who adored his energy and valued his companionship. Chris retired from Western-Southern Life Insurance Company in 2012 after dedicating 33 years servicing his clients.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Glenda Muth Dantin; his son, Jonathan R. Dantin (Nicole); his mother, JoeAnn K. Dantin; his sister, Joellen D. Doyle (Garin); his sister in-law, Noelie M. Scholl (Michael) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce W. Dantin; his sister, Toni D. Badeaux; his in-laws, Charles and Marion Muth; and a niece.

The family would like to invite friends and family to attend a service at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Rd. Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, December 7, 2024 with the service beginning at 1:30 PM and visitation beginning at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the ALS Foundation in Chris's honor in order to help further the study of the disease. The link to do so is at https://www.als.org/ and click 'Donate.' in the corner.
