Christian was an avid fisherman who loved to cast a line wherever there was water. His family imagines him now, "Fishing in the Sky," just as the beloved song describes. He was also a skilled carpenter who found great joy in woodworking and enjoyed being outdoors gardening.
He is survived by his daughter Cadence Simpson of Kentucky; parents Ronald Joe and Kathy E. Swallows of Jeffersonville, IN; sister Melody Swallows of Jeffersonville, IN; brother Ronald Jeremy Swallows of Louisville, KY; nephew Austin Brewer and niece Tiffany Stewart; along with 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service.
