Christian R. Velsor

Christian Velsor, 51 of Staten Island NY passed away on October 19th 2024. He was born July 13 1973 In Rockland County NY and spent 30 yrs there. In Staten Island Christian was a resident of Madsen Group home of cerebral palsy in Pleasant Plains for the last 21 years. He is survived by his mother Joanne Falletta and Brother James Velsor, Nephews James Jr and Robert Velsor. Christian was pre deceased by his Grandmother Lillian Falletta And Uncle John Falletta. The family would like to express gratitude to Darlene, Elsie and Alice who always showered un wavering love on Christian and especially the nurses on the fourth floor of Staten Island University Hospital, who took the best care of him.
Visitation will be at the Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, on Tuesday October 22, from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady Queen of Peace across the street from the funeral home on Wednesday October 23, at 11:00AM, with a private cremation to follow.
