Christina Carlson Obituary
A graduate of J.D. Darnall High School, Christina earned her bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and her master's degree from the University of Iowa. She worked in the University of Iowa Registrar's Office for over 40 years.
Christina enjoyed reading, traveling, and cross-stitching. She is survived by her sibling, Charles Holm; sister-in-law, Janey Carlson; nieces and nephews, Chris (Jamie) Holm, Kim (Jeff) Barnes, Carrie Mirfield, and Josh Mirfield; and her great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sibling, Phillip Carlson.
Christina will also be missed by the many friends whose lives she touched.
Per Christina's request, no services will be held at this time.
The family would like to thank Iowa City Hospice and the Bird House for making Christina's last days peaceful and comfortable.
