Christina "Chrissy" Ann Wamble, of Cuba, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on September 16, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, she was the daughter of Jerry L. and Debbie (Bowen) Hitchcock.
Chrissy was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Wamble on August 6, 2011, in Malden, Missouri. A proud alumna of Cuba High School, Class of 1998, she dedicated herself to her career, serving in various capacities including as a House Mom at Great Circle, Phelps Health and a Pharmacy Technician at Wal-Mart, until she became disabled.
A member of Trinity Chapel, Chrissy passionately taught Sunday School and shared her love for country and gospel music. She found joy in creating art with plastic canvas and cherishing precious moments spent with her family, particularly her beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry L. Hitchcock, as well as her grandparents, Thomas J. and Gail L. (Cummings) Hitchcock, and Wilma Bowen.
Chrissy is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Wamble of Cuba; her mother, Debbie (Bowen) Hitchcock of Cuba; two sisters, Angie (Ron) Holland of Cuba and Sandra (George) Adams, Jr. of Steelville; beloved nieces and nephews, Mica (Stephen) Moeckel, Cheyenne Adams, Arabella Adams, Kamden Holland, and Jaycee Holland; a great-nephew, Stephen Moeckel; grandfather Frank Bowen of Dexter; two children she lovingly cared for as a house mom, Anthony Temares and Kiersten Pierce; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Jack Shepherd, officiating. Interment will take place at Meramec Hills Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
