She was the daughter of Stanley and Julia Shivick of Oxford, MA. Her husband of 67 years, Robert Mathieu, predeceased her on 1/9/21. She leaves behind a son; Joseph Mathieu and his wife Greice Mathieu and a daughter, Rosemarie Harris and husband Philip Harris. She had 5 wonderful grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
Chris's Legacy was one of deep faith, generosity, graciousness, love and kindness to all. She was an amazing mother and "Grammy". She was an incredible seamstress and baker. She devoted her time to the church, the elderly, neighbors and her family. She affected so many lives and will truly be missed. We will love her forever.

My heartfelt condolences to Joe and Rosemarie and family. I personally have loved Chris so much. She was a lovely beautiful person, inside and out. Early on she got me to have a love for crafting and cooking. She was the most exquisite seamstress, she was beyond talented. My heart is so broken right now, this special lady meant so much to me. Thank you Chris for everything. And I will always continue to say...Chris nobody can make a better apple pie than you. Love our sweet lady. RIP

We knew Chris and Bob for decades. She was a loving Godmother to our daughter Susan. I think that Chris was the kindest, sweetest and hardest working woman I have ever met. She was just one in a million. Chris was always first to offer help to a friend or a neighbor. There´s a special place in heaven for her. Everyone loved her!
