Honoring Chris's legacy. I am profoundly grateful to the Berry brothers for my gift of sight. Chris and Jonathan created a safe, welcoming practice providing the highest quality of care. My heart goes out to everyone at Albany Eyecare as they hold Chris in their hearts and continue to care for patients and one another in the days ahead. To Chris's family, my heart sends you immense love during this incredibly difficult time.

Dear Berry family - our hearts go out to you for the loss of Christopher. I will always remember his kindness, empathy, thoughtfulness, and wonderful sense of humor. I think of Christopher often, and his smile/laugh always made me feel better no matter what mood I was in - and I treasure the times I had with Christopher. Our family is sending our love.

Oh Christopher I am so sorry. My mom and I are absolutely heartbroken over this news. He was always so kind and generous with his time. I've known him since he was 3 years old. What a tragedy!
We are so sorry Merle, Carol Ann, Jonathan, Tami, Annie and Molly for such a tremendous loss and the pain everyone must be going through. I didn't believe it when I read it. So so so sorry.

Louise and I just learned about Chris passing. Our prayers to all who know him and missed knowing a wonderful man. He was our eye doctor for years and always a warm smile and laughter. We played a lot of pickleball with him and he was quite good, many sought to play with him not just for his skill but the character and kindness he showed. We are also in black butte and the berry home is nearby. Always a joy to talk to Chris and share life stories no matter where we saw him. Chris now in our memories as a treasure to our life and leaves a legacy of many fond memories. I miss him and so does Louise. Blessing to all who knew him and particularly prayers to the family and all who knew him. He added so much richness and joy to our lives. He is missed and hard to believe.

To the Berry family;
I've known Merle, Chris, and the family for several decades now and have always admired the profound respect and care they have given their patients over the years. As a mid-valley colleague I was always pleased to know that they adopted a patient-first attitude and manifested it daily. I even got to experience that respect and caring recently with Chris providing that same personal touch to my own eyecare needs. A fine gentleman and caring doctor.
My condolences to the whole Berry family and staff.

Our family has been going to that office for 23 years. Dr Berry was always easy to talk too. If we had concerns about a medical issue he would always listen and go the extra mile to help. So sad to hear of his passing . We also got the pleasure of meeting the family at some school functions . He will be missed and prayers for the family

Tyson here, Chris Berry was my first best friend when my family moved to Albany in 1980. We enjoyed countless hours as children together, and I truly enjoyed every moment. We even got married together, Chris got married to Brook (his first girlfriend ) andI got married to Carolee Clark, My memories with Chris are filled with smiles and laughter. We hadn't talked in many years, and though our friendship was a thing of the past, those Childhood memories with CB were the stuff every child would be so lucky to have. Were blessed to have him in our lives. Love ya Chris.
