September 19, 1977 – June 5, 2025
Christopher Todd Lathrem, age 47, passed away on June 5, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on September 19, 1977, in Lexington, Chris lived a life marked by integrity, loyalty, and deep devotion to his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Arrington Lathrem; his loving parents, Harriet Lynn Gorham and her husband, David, and Mike Lathrem and his wife, Sandy-all of whom were a constant source of support, guidance, and love throughout his life. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him.
Chris was preceded in death by his infant son, William David Lathrem. Though their time together was brief, William remained forever in Chris and Ashley's hearts and a cherished part of their life story together.
Chris was known for his fierce loyalty, unwavering work ethic, and the honor with which he lived his life. He was a devoted husband who cherished traveling and making memories with Ashley, especially during their many vacations together.
To know Chris was to know a man of quiet strength, deep friendships, and steadfast character. His calm presence, warm heart, and sense of responsibility left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40513.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Chris's memory by donating to Shriners Children's, an organization dear to their hearts.
