Mr. Stockstill was born on April 11,1973 in Picayune, MS. He was the son of Yolanda Lumpkin Newton and Huey Frierson. He was a certified pest control professional with DAPS Pest Control. He will be remembered for his tender, loving heart and the way he loved to joke with everyone. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Courtney Leigh Stockstill.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Brittani and Dakota Tapley, son, Christopher Michael Stockstill Jr.; grandchildren, Taegan Fannin, Kaylee Holcomb, Kaci Tapley, Logan Tapley, and Lincoln Tapley; mother and step-father, Yolanda and Gary Newton; father, Huey Frierson; sisters, Veronica Seay and Tiffany Stevens; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Hartmann and Stan and Tifini Frierson; nieces, nephews, and other family also survive.
Funeral service for Mr. Christopher Michael Stockstill Sr. will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Apostolic Tabernacle, 9769 Tara Blvd. Jonesboro, Ga. Pastor Dr. Talmadge French and Pastor Ryan French will officiate. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd. McDonough, Ga. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at Apostolic Tabernacle.
