Christopher Lee Wawrin, age 51, of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

He felt comfort in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania where he spent some of the best times of his life. A few of his favorite things included, Mexican food, Sunday Fundays, sing a longs with his best friend, gardening, a stray cat named Squeaky, and his Dodge Ram. Chris was a kindhearted, friendly man and you could consider yourself lucky to call him a friend.

Chris was a wonderful friend. He and I worked together at AMEC. Chris loved both of my kids and even traveled to the mountains to spend a weekend in Timberon. We lived in the park with him and had weekly meals. He would speak fondly of Nancy, Frank and Carrie. His old dodge i believe was named Bruce. I am so saddened that I did not know about this. I am so sorry for his family.
