Tangaleeia Marie McClanahan Meyers, age 50, of Brownstown Township, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at her residence.
Born on July 25, 1973 in Dearborn, Michigan, she was the daughter of Eddie and Rita (Mosely) McClanahan.
She was a 1991 graduate of Carlson High School. Tangaleeia was employed at Dearborn Federal Savings Bank. She previously worked at First Mechant's Bank (formerly known as Monroe Bank), for 22 years. In order to enhance her career development, Tangaleeia obtained numerous certificates for banking at Monroe County Community College. She was a very strong woman, whose goal was to raise her boys to become successful adults. She was kind, independent, had a sarcastic sense of humor, and no enemies. She loved her Irish heritage and enjoyed many a Saint Patrick's Day in Chicago. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Tangaleeia was preceded in death by her mother, Rita McClanahan.
She is survived by her sons, Isaac Meyers and Shane Meyers, parents, Eddie and Gerri McClanahan and the father of her boys, Scott Meyers.
Memorial visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 12pm to 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the to the family.
