Christopher Weiss, 61, of Clarksboro, New Jersey formerly of Flanders New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Legacy
Born in Newton, NJ and was raised in Lake Mohawk, NJ. He graduated from Newton High School Class of 1978 then attended CCM College and received his Associate Degree in 1980. Started working at Exxon then moved on to Selective Insurance working as a Computer Systems Analysts for 30 years. He retired in 2011. Chris enjoyed traveling, going to LBI, Sci-fi, taking pictures, was an avid bicyclist, doing research on the internet to help anyone who asked him. He loved to be around his family and watching sporting events of his nieces and nephews, and enjoyed the quiet of the outdoors.
Family
He is the beloved husband of 24 wonderful years to Susan Weiss (nee Squeri). Son of the late Elizabeth and Joseph Weiss. Dear brother of Linda Senkier and Frank Weiss (Marie), brother-in-law to Steven Squeri (Jill). Adored uncle to Michael (Jennifer), the late Ryan, Kara (Mattie), Matthew, Joseph, Todd (Cherise), Stefani, and Joseph. He will be missed by 10 great nieces & nephews, loving cousins, extended family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, February 23 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Twp. Location), 573 Egg Harbor Road Sewell, NJ 08080. On Thursday, February 24th 11:00AM Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Interment on (DATE & TIME CHANGED) Saturday, February 26th at 11:30AM (by the cross) in Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07932. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chris's memory to the American Stroke Association-www.stroke.org or N. J. Sharing Network-www.njsharingnetwork.org.

Uncle Frank, I´m so sorry. I hope, after all this time; that you get this message. I used to live in Sewell, I can´t believe Chris lived right next door. Why should time separate us?

So sorry to hear of Chris's passing. Have a lot of good memories of him working at Selective Insurance, cycling, and being part of our daily "Coffee Club". He was a very sweet guy, touching all who knew him with his humor and the inner strength to overcome the obstacles that life dealt him. Condolences to Sue and all his extended family.
