Claude Adams Ralls, Jr.

July 12, 1944 – August 15, 2025

Claude Adams Ralls, Jr. (known to most as Adam), of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on July 12, 1944, in Atlanta to Elise and Claude Ralls, Sr., our Dad lived a life defined by faith, family, service, and community.

A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia-Go Dawgs!- Dad remained a passionate supporter of Georgia football throughout his life. He also deeply loved his Braves, and enthusiastically followed the Pittsford Panthers and the Diamond Pro Canes.

Dad served his country honorably as a medic in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later built a successful career in sales management, working with several companies including Westinghouse.

Faith was the cornerstone of Dad's life. He was an active and devoted member of Druid Hills Presbyterian Church, where he found purpose and community. He lived each day guided by God's direction, and his deep spirituality shaped the way he loved, led, and lived.

He is survived by his beloved children: his son, Cary, and Cary's wife Christa, along with their children Hardy and Ella; and his daughter, Vanessa, and her husband Aaron, along with their children Caleb, Grady, and Rose. He is also survived by his sisters Diane and Susan. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Wilma.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Home in Tucker, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Animal Services, a cause Dad cared about deeply.

Dad will be remembered for his faith, warmth, integrity, and sense of humor. He was a man who loved deeply, cheered loudly, prayed faithfully, and lived fully. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tiffany Liddie

August 19, 2025

I moved into Woodridge Condominiums in the late summer of 2023, and it wasn´t long before I met my dear neighbor, Claude. During my daily walks with my dog Grayson, Claude would often greet us with a warm smile and a treat for Grayson. That simple gesture blossomed into a beautiful friendship.

One day, Claude brought out a chair and said, "Tiffany, this is for you, so we can chat when you walk by with Grayson." That moment captured his kind spirit perfectly. His warmth, gentle demeanor, and genuine heart left a lasting impression on me.

Claude, your presence brought joy to our days, and your memory will forever live in our hearts. Grayson and I will always miss you. Until we meet again, dear friend.
