Obituary
Of Versailles Borough, formerly of West Mifflin, age 73, was peacefully united with his Savior on August 29, 2023.
Clyde was a window installer and retired owner of The Window Experts.
He enjoyed golfing and deer hunting with his brothers in Potter County and was a devoted Steelers fan. Clyde had an edgy wit and clear philosophy on life and wasn't ever afraid to give his opinion. He had an open-hearted spiritual life and, toward the end of his life, let his kids know that he knew where he was going, and it gave him a sense of peace.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Lori Andres of White Oak, Ryan Andres of Monroeville and Natalie Andres of Greentree; his brother, Kurt Andres of McKeesport, Donald (Debi) Andres of Jefferson Hills and Bart Andres of West Mifflin, along with many nieces and nephews and extended family. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents James Andres (Barbara) of West Mifflin and the late Jacqueline Andres.
The family would like to thank UPMC East and Family Hospice for the exceptional care that he received while he was their patient.
Friends are welcome on Saturday from 12-3pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
